Mission To Accomplish!

Monday, January 12th, 2009

For my blogging entries these next few days or weeks, I will be devoting it to feature my co faculty in the ITE Program. Instead of featuring people whom we are not that familiar with, why not featuring the backbone of the ITE Program of the University of the Immaculate Conception. Definitely, I will ask their permission before posting the details, so do not you worry about that, no violation of privacy. I will see to it that students will then know the positive side of us….but the negative ones (It’s a secret between the interviewer and the interviewee, sealed and locked).

BTW, I am already excited to post the details in the next few days, of course, I will be gathering facts and information first about them plus their pictures. Hopefully, before the semester ends, I can feature all of them especially the full time.  So, who will be the first featured faculty? Let’s say, alphabetical…so you do have the hint already, it’s A C A….

PS: You can as well request faculty in the ITE Program (part time or full time)  to be featured, and I will do my best to gather facts and details about the requested faculty…

Take a Bow - Rihanna

Ohh, how about a round of applause
Yeah, standin’ ovation
Oooh ohh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah

You look so dumb right now
Standin’ outside my house
Tryin’ to apologize
You’re so ugly when you cry
Please, just cut it out

And don’t tell me you’re sorry ’cause you’re not
Baby when I know you’re only sorry you got caught

But you put on quite a show
Really had me going
But now it’s time to go
Curtain’s finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertainin’
But it’s over now (but it’s over now)
Go on and take a bow
Ohhh…

Grab your clothes and get gone (get gone)
You better hurry up before the sprinklers come on
Talkin’ about, girl, I love you, you’re the one
This just looks like a re-run
Please, what else is on (ohh)

And don’t tell me you’re sorry ’cause you’re not
Baby when I know you’re only sorry you got caught

But you put on quite a show
Really had me going
But now it’s time to go
Curtain’s finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertainin’
But it’s over now (but it’s over now)
Go on and take a bow

Ohh, and the award for the best liar goes to you
For making me believe that you could be faithful to me
Let’s hear your speech out

How about a round of applause
A standin’ ovation

But you put on quite a show
Really had me going
Now it’s time to go
Curtain’s finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertainin’
But it’s over now (but it’s over now)
Go on and take a bow

But it’s over now…

I really love this song, I dunno why! I just love the rhythm and tone. I do not care with the substance of the song but the important thing for me is that I am enjoying listening to it again and again. It keeps me ease from stress and pressure from different forces. FYI: Rihanna is one of my favorite singers now a days especially the umbrella song, love it.

This is me today!

My Fate Today!

Don’t be too specific when you answer probing questions today. Keep things vague.

You’re stuck between two competing points of view — and you might hold them both yourself! That makes it easier for you to reconcile them, but it might take some effort to convince your peers you’re right.

Wheew… This is me today, my fate, and my challenge! Tuesday and thursday are tiring days for me. Lectures and demonstrations from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, only 12:00 - 1:00 is my vacant time. I keep on complaining it to myself yet I am enjoying it. So ironic! So tiring, but fulfilling. Knowing there were people who have learned from me this day made my day complete, memorable, and worth it.

Opening of the Year with Idleness

12:35 PM…Lunch Break + Boredom = Great Entry for Blogging!

Two weeks vacations were no joke. Good things and bad things were happening in those weeks. But, the important thing was we learned from those experiences. If not for the best, I am so sure it is for the betterment of something or someone.

Anyway, my work has been resumed last Monday, January 5. The only thing that I can say was it’s BORING, and LOUSY DAY! We felt the lousiness in the whole vicinity of the campus not to mentioned that ITE students are the most noisiest program in the Main Campus. FYI: we have two college campuses, the main and the annex. That day, you could not feel the presence of this program, maybe one of their New Year’s Resolutions is to be silent all the time. I am not so sure with that. It ended the first day as if nothing happened.

To make the story short, many friends of mine have reacted on my Yahoo Messenger (YM) status message nowadays that states: ” We were given: Two hands to hold. Two legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why there is only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else, for us to find.”

They keep on asking why such status, well, it’s the secret between me and myself. LOL. Mystery awakes everyone’s curiosity.

Past 2008 + Present 2009

It’s New Year, let’s accept it and face it!

I love and want to blog the last day of the year 2008 but organization of thoughts was not present at that time so I decided to make my post on the 1st day of the year of the Ox.

I haven’t had my last post for 2008 but I will give you this time my insights for my past year that will serve as my shall we say memorable ending and initial force for 2009, the year of the Ox.

2008 for me was full of memories. There were successes and failures but the bottomline, I had used and converted these events as my inspirations and motivations. As for my profession, I have posted my insights to it (My Insights for 3/4 Academic Year). I have posted as well my wishes for Christmas and partial hopes and aspirations for New Year (My Christmas Wishes to all!). 2008 was memorable for me as a whole.

I am very sure, many individuals are blogging about significant and unsignificant happening in their lives, so I will not reiterate those events for you not to be bored. Most topics are from personal and other personalities. They blogged their self-experiences, activities/socializations and etc. You know what I mean, it’s all for yourself. Admit it!

I will make this post not for myself but for the niche I am living in and to the people who managed to be part of my life for the past year. This is my opportunity and venue to acknowledge and send my gratitude to them. Who knows, this could be your last day on Earth, kinda serious and unusual but it’s true and practical.

For the niche I am living in, my prayer for

1. the Reigning World Peace all throughout the globe

2. the Presence of Justices, happiness, joys in all corners of the world

3. the Sufficient Food supply and alleviate hunger in all parts of the world especially to our brothers and sisters in Africa. My heart is aching every time I see them on TV and news. I could not give any material things or financial support but my wholeheartedly PRAYER is for them.

4. Global Economic Crisis to be managed well if not fully recovered. It should be for the benefits of all not just for a few.

5. my country Philippines to be healed from pains of corruptions, manipulations, and many downs. I love my country and am proud that I am a Filipino by blood and culture and let’s help one another to build the country as it deserved to be.

6. for people who have illnesses or sicknesses be healed and ease from pain of sufferings

7. for the mother Earth be restored and respected by all

For the people who played significantly and unsignificantly, my prayer for your well being.

1. For my parents, thank you very much. I owe my life to you, you made me of what I am right now.

2. For my biological brother and kuya, thank you so much for all the sacrifices for me. Your strength and courage have made me strong as well in facing my weaknesses and celebrate joys as they deserved.

3. For my loveone, you know who you are. Thank you so much for being there for me. I love you. I am so proud of having you in my life.

4. To the person who gave me this song —> Konstantine by Something Corporate. This person made me realized how beautiful life is. Thank you and am praying for your happiness always. I am grateful that I have known you. Experiences should not be buried but keeping them in your memory and treasure them. Thank you!

5. To my students, thank you for being part of my life. You made me what I am right now guys. You are always my precious gems. Teaching you academically and imparting the lessons about life are once in a lifetime opportunity. I am very much grateful that I have all of you. Be good always and you will realize the importance of education to the message of life very soon.

6. To my friends, a million thanks to all of you! Through thick and thin, you are all there! May God bless your happiness and I am one of those persons who are praying for your safety. I love you guys.

7. and to the rest…thank you! I want to acknowledge and appreciate all of your presence.

My entry is quite serious but these are all true and from my heart.

There is no difference for 2008 and 2009. The only difference is on how to work out the year. As for me, I will be more involve to other people not just consuming myself and myself. I love to be person for others. From the famous scripture verse and lyrics, “There is no greater love than to lay down his life for a friend.”

May the year 2009 gives us more blessings and God bless us all. Let’s be happy and treat life as simple as it is with FAITH to God, HOPE for a Change and unconditional LOVE for all. Let’s start the new year with right convictions, right attitude, positive outlook in life, and useful actions for others not just for ourselves.

Let’s be thankful always to the people who played and are still playing significant or unsignificant roles in your life before IT’S TOO LATE.

Happy New Year everyone!
